In my project ”I Left Too Soon”, I examine absence, identity, immigration and the pass of time, revisiting moments and places that I’ve taken for granted. In these reconnections I explore a sense of belonging through memories and nostalgia, using family archives, my own photos from my latest visits and in some cases, a thread. Trying to understand why I left.
